Advantages and application of microsilica fume powder for refractory materials
Refractory material microsilica fume powder is amorphous structure, with good volcanic ash surface activity. With the increase of carbon and iron oxide content, the appearance color of micro-silica fume powder changes from white, gray-white, gray to dark gray, and the average particle size of 0.1~0.15μm, which is a kind of super micro particles. Its specific surface area is around 2000㎡/g, about 50 times larger than that of fly ash, and the surface of the particles is smooth and spherical.
